MAINTENANCE

To Maintain your hair extensions in the best possible condition, it is important that you follow the following advice and procedures:

  >  Shampoo and condition your hair every second day using Muk Ultra Soft Shampoo and Muk One Minute Ultra Soft Treatment ONLY  (DO NOT USE ANY OTHER PRODUCT ON OUR HAIR EXTENSIONS!!! )  DO NOT USE ANY PRODUCY WHICH IS OIL BASED OR YOUR BONDS WILL GO TACKY (if you have wax)

  >  Pink Zombie will not guarantee the hair unless all instructions are followed and reciepts must be kept by the client to prove date of purchase for shampoo and condition.

  >  Always brush you hair before washing to avoid tangling.

  >  After washing separate the individual extensions before drying, this will prevent them from matting at the roots.

  >  If your hair is normally oily or greasy you will tend to loose some hair extensions - depending on the condition of your natural hair you could lose between 1-10 extensions (this is normal).

  >  Tie hair in a loose plait at night.

  >  Do not barrel curl hair without assistance as extensions need to be held at the root where extensions are attached, failure to do this will cause them to slip and slide out and will pull out the natural hair.

  >  Wavy Hair - Wavy hair product needs to be used to achieve the best result.

  >  DO NOT EVER RUB YOUR HAIR WHEN WASHING OR DRYING.  This will cause matting and the hair will feel very dry and coarse.  (Gently squeeze excess water from hair with a towel after showering).

EXTENSION CARE BEFORE AND AFTER ACTIVITIES E.G. SWIMMING

  >  Prior to swimming (in the pool and sea) or sunbathing apply a leaving in conditioner and plait hair.  Shampoo and condition as soon as possible afterward as swimming in the pool or sea will dry out the extensions.

  >  If engaging in an activity that requires tight headgear, please be aware that some waxed extension bonds will flatten and soften under the heat and pressure generated.

  >  Under no circumstances do we recommend that you loosen the headgear!

GENERAL CARE

  >  Always dry the hair thoroughly.
  >  When colouring hair please always do a test strand on a damp piece of hair first.
  >  Any hair colouring on roots should be carried out before extensions are applied.
  >  Electric curlers, tongs, straightening irons can be used on real hair.
  >  Do not apply direct heat to bonds eg. irons, tongs. Blowdrying is ok.
  >  Do not used uncovered elastic bands.
  >  NO EXCHANGES OR REFUNDS CAN BE GIVEN.
  >  No responsibility will be taken by Pink Zombie if any other person than a staff member of Pink Zombie removes the hair extensions.
